The data controller is Nimadi Pet Photography (hereinafter “Nimadi”), operating from Portugal. For privacy-related requests, contact: contact@nimadiphotography.com.
Data we collect
Contact form: name, email, and the content you send (e.g. message, session preferences, phone if provided).
Image consent form: name, email, your role (who is signing), phone if provided, session reference, pet name, your choice for public promotion of Nimadi services, confirmation of legal authority for the images, optional notes, and a timestamp when you submit.
Website preferences: language choice may be stored locally in your browser (see Cookie Policy).
Technical data: your browser and connection send standard information (e.g. IP address, user agent) to our hosting provider when you load pages; this is typical for any website.
Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
Responding to enquiries and managing bookings: performance of pre-contractual steps or contract, and legitimate interests in operating our business.
Storing consent for image use: consent, which you may withdraw as described in the consent form and applicable law.
Operating the website and security: legitimate interests and, where required, compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
Emails and form submissions received via our form provider are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law or for legitimate archiving (e.g. proof of consent).
Processors and transfers
We use service providers to host the site and to deliver form submissions (e.g. FormSubmit). They process data on our instructions. Where data may be processed outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses) when applicable.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
